Frullo gains endorsement of leading fiscal
responsibility group
LUBBOCK, Texas – John Frullo became the first Lubbock-area
candidate to be endorsed this campaign season by the state’s leading fiscal
watchdogs.
The Empower Texans PAC, the political arm of Texans for
Fiscal Responsibility, has publicly endorsed John Frullo of Lubbock
for the Republican nomination for state representative, district 84.
“We are endorsing John Fullo in our first round of
primary endorsements for legislative races because of his commitment
protecting taxpayers,” said Michael Quinn Sullivan of Empower Texans.
John Frullo is the only Lubbock-area candidate endorsed by
the Empower Texans PAC to date.
“Conservatives in Lubbock have a strong candidate in John
Frullo, who will be a worthy successor to Carl Isett,” added Sullivan,
noting the retiring lawmaker who perennially received top ratings on the
group’s Fiscal Responsibility Index. Isett has also endorsed Frullo.
